Gavin and Ai: Fighters of Rude People

These are our brain-babies and the stars of our comic-in-progress, Eurasia (that's a working title until we think of something better; please don't tell Mom).  The series is a fantasy that combines the stories, monsters and legends from Medieval European and Ancient China, so our main characters are a dynamic duo of a knight in shining armor and a monk trained in the arts of self-defense.

Gavin is a member of The Guild, which protects the people of The Highlands from criminals, monsters and magics mortal men don't understand.  Ai is illiterate a stranded survivor of the Bodhimonda Monastery whom Gavin took under his wing.  Gavin's a nerd and a bookworm and Ai won't shut up about her techniques, but the two have more battle experience than most armies and more trust in each other than even Teddy Roosevelt can bust...That was stupid.  Why did I end this fantasy blurb on an America joke?  Let me do this again.
